Comparison between Retractable Awning and Fixed Awning

There are lots of unique advantages of retractable awnings as compared to fixed awning. Nowadays awnings usually come with lots of accessories which greatly increase the versatility and usefulness of awnings for their owners.
(1) Retractable awnings retracts partially or completely as desired against the house or building while fixed awnings are always fixed permanently with vertical or angled posts which may block the view from them.

(6) In retractable awnings the solution dyed acrylic fibers add to the durability while in case of fixed awnings the canvas or vinyl is always exposed to harsh elements including the sun and UV rays which shortens their life.

(7) In retractable Awnings the frames are electro statically powder coated with non-rusting aluminum which has warranty of 25 years against any defect while fixed awning are made up of steel which rust and corrode usually within 2 or 3 years.
